People migrate to the city from rural communities to escape poverty only to find themselves at the dump with nowhere else to go. They end up picking through the rubbish in order to find resellable items. Adults can earn up to $1 a day.

Carl and Liz come to visit so we escaped Daliand and visted The Great Wall at Tiger Mountain and Yalu Bridge on the border of North Korea.

Leaving Cambodia behind for Thailand we decided to live out our final backpacking days in luxury on Koh Phangan in a $20p/n hotel!

Journey from Blackburn, Manchester Airport via Copenhagan to Beijing including Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City.
We were on our way to Dalian to start our new teaching jobs but decided to stay in Beijing a few nights and see the sights.

After leaving Hanoi we faced a 17hr coach journey to Hue. On the way, we got coerced into getting off the coach and going on a trip around the DMZ.
