Midori in Japanese means green. Midori has green eyes, hence the name. She is also a character in one of my favorite books, Norwegian Wood.
Midori threw a hissy fit upon seeing Bruno the Shih Tzu, so I took her to the only other room in my apartment, the bathroom. She was still in a fit even while eating, hence the growls. So funny.
